Carr Hagan is President of LHP Development, LLC and is responsible for overseeing affordable multifamily acquisition and development related activities for the company. Prior to assuming the role of President, he served as Senior Vice President and Director of Development for Lawler Wood Housing Partners, LLC, which became LHP in 2015. Having been with the company since 2002, Carr has played a key role in the company’s growth including development activities that accumulated 12,500+ units of multifamily holdings in eleven states with development costs totaling more than $1.1 billion.
Carr began his career in the affordable housing field as a Vice President of First Tennessee Housing Corp. Carr serves on the Board of Directors of the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association and as a member of the steering committee of the Tennessee Developer’s Council. He is a frequent speaker at NH&RA events and at other housing related forums. He served as President of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. Carr earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis.
