Richard Emison

Vice President of Construction

Richard is Vice President of Construction and is responsible for all preconstruction and design activities for LHP’s multi-family housing developments to include project planning and scheduling, identifying potential issues and overseeing the scope of work, cost estimation and needs analysis for each job. He works closely with the contractor and architect to assure construction projects are delivered on time and within budget and his extensive knowledge of scheduling, construction feasibility, estimating and value analysis ensures the best bottom line result for all projects.

Richard has more than 25 years of experience in construction including 17 years in preconstruction and estimating at Blaine Construction. There he led preconstruction for notable East Tennessee projects including the $22 million Rocky Top Sports Complex in Gatlinburg and the $12 million Zoo Knoxville Asian Trek as well as the University of Tennessee’s $84 million Stokely Hall. Richard serves on the board of directors for Family Promise of Knoxville and is a volunteer with Boys and Girls Club. He is an active member of Faith Promise Church where he volunteers as weekend pastor once a month and as a small group coach for middle and high schoolers each week. Richard has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
