Director of Preconstruction
Richard is Director of Preconstruction for LHP where he is responsible for the executive management of all preconstruction activities from concept and consultation with owners, designers and contractors to development and completion. His extensive knowledge of scheduling, construction feasibility, estimating and value analysis ensures the best bottom line results for all projects.
Richard has more than 20 years of experience in construction including 17 years in preconstruction and estimating at Blaine Construction. There he led preconstruction for notable East Tennessee projects including the $22 million Rocky Top Sports Complex in Gatlinburg and the $12 million Zoo Knoxville Asian Trek as well as the University of Tennessee’s $84 million Stokely Hall, $50 million Fred Brown Hall and $22 million Volunteer Boulevard parking facility. Richard has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
