Carey Parker

Chief Executive Officer

Carey Parker is Chief Executive Officer and Firm Council Chairperson for LHP. Since joining the company in 2003, Carey has served in a number of leadership positions guiding strategic growth as well as managing assets and investments.  As Senior Vice President of Finance, she played an important role building the company by establishing LHP’s essential support divisions. Other positions held by Carey include Controller, Asset Management Analyst and Accountant.

Carey earned national recognition being named a Young Leader by Affordable Housing Finance magazine in 2021. She is a graduate of the Leadership Tennessee Class VIII, a graduate of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2019, and was named to the Knoxville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2017. Carey serves as President of the East Tennessee Community Design Center board of directors and on the advisory board of First Horizon Bank. She is a member of the Executive Women’s Association and serves on the Board of Trustees at Webb School of Knoxville. Carey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
